Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The role involves ignition system development, including screen layout and design, and complex system scripting. The ideal candidate will have Level 2 programming experience with SQL, ODATA, and Python, as well as experience with PLCs, Operator Interfaces, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Knowledge of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming and AutoCAD Electrical for control system design is preferred. A basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and their application to automation is essential. Experience in automation or robotics is a plus.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design ignition systems, including screen layouts and complex system scripting.Utilize Level 2 programming skills in SQL, ODATA, and Python.Work with PLCs, Operator Interfaces, and Variable Frequency Drives.Design control systems using AutoCAD Electrical.Apply knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to automation projects.Commission, test, and troubleshoot systems at various plant locations.Essential SkillsLevel 2 programming experience with SQL, ODATA, and Python.Experience with PLCs, Operator Interfaces, and Variable Frequency Drives.Proficiency in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming.Competence in AutoCAD Electrical for control system design.Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-4 year Electrical Engineering Technology degree or similar.5+ years’ experience in an industrial Electrical Technician/Engineering role.Ignition by Inductive Automation Experience or Certification, Required.Allen-Bradley programming experience or training, Required.Experience in automation or robotics is a plus.Work Environment

This position requires 75% travel for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting at various plant locations. The role demands adaptability to different work environments and a commitment to ensuring system functionality and reliability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00
