The Electrical Engineer will support the PM E2S2 staff with engineering, maintenance, and product development tasks related to low-voltage and medium-voltage military power generation and distribution equipment.
Duties:
• Perform in all phases of hardware specifications and design, development, and documentation to support acquisition of military power systems.
• Perform fundamental engineering duties in preliminary design, performing tests, taking measurements, troubleshooting and performing system analyses.
• Apply standard practices and techniques in specific engineering assignments.
• Conduct system evaluation, repair, upgrade, and technical measurements in a military field environment in adverse weather conditions.
• May be required to perform duties associated with Logistical, Mechanical, Production and/or Value Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience directly related in design, development, production, or use of military power generation and distribution systems required.

Required Clearance:
• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:
• U.S. Army Military Operation Specialist (MOS) 12P Prime Power Specialist training.
• U.S. Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 3E0X2 Electrical Power Production Specialist training.
• U.S. Navy Mobile Utility Support Equipment (MUSE) Technician training.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
• Ten (10) years of experience in related activities required.
• An additional ten (10) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.

Travel:
Travel of at least 25% is expected for this position. Travel will include continental United States and outside continental United States austere/remote locations.

Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. Duties also include conducting system evaluation, repair, upgrade, and technical measurements in a military field environment in adverse weather conditions.

Physical Demands:
Physical demands of this position include ability to:
• Be independently mobile.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats, and breathing respirators/masks.
• Operate powered vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.
• Lift/push/pull objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
• Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.
• Ability to work in confined areas.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
