Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

The Electrical Engineer designs advanced electrical components and sub-assemblies with minimal support. This position reports to the Manager, Electronics Research and Engineering or Manager, RF Products. The role involves participating in multi-discipline design efforts with a high awareness of design implications within a team environment.

ResponsibilitiesDetail and design electrical components and electrical sub-assembliesResearch, test, and assemble electrical components and electrical sub-assembliesTroubleshoot production problemsAssist in the documentation of components and sub-assembliesMaintain documentation and/or logbookResponsible for maintaining design documentation for review purposesParticipate in multi-discipline design efforts with high awareness of design implications within team environmentProvide research support, understand new technologies, and support product innovationSupport specialty electrical designs with a high degree of technical independenceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation for material analysisKnowledge of life science industry applications such as mass spectrometersExperience with analog, digital, and mixed signal designsFamiliarity with high-end FPGAs, high-performance low noise solutions, and high bit count designsExperience with industrial electronics designComfortable working with single phase systems, most of which are 25 volts or lowerPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
