Summary\r
The Real Estate Services group is part of the Corporate Services division of Bell Canada, and manages the real estate portfolio for BCE and its subsidiaries. Our mandate is to provide all Bell Canada and BCE employees with efficient and dynamic work environments while helping the company meet its business objectives by optimizing its real estate portfolio. We are also responsible for the reliability of electro-mechanical systems and general maintenance of building infrastructure, including employee workspace, telecommunications facilities and equipment storage.
Key Responsibilities\rProvide technical oversight on capital projects,Review all technical deliverables from external consultants,Document and issue Scope of Work to external consultants for any new capital investment in Bell infrastructure,Act as subject matter expert for portfolio of critical buildings in the Greater Toronto Area,Contribute to technical internal standards and guidelines that stipulate how infrastructure is deployed, Perform analysis of equipment and critical infrastructure, maintenance performance,Assist building operations team where needed with routine tasks and activities, Contribute to the technical resolution of incidents,Ensure compliance with the protocols and standards of the company and the industry,Oversee and approve sequence of work in live operational environment.Good knowledge in the following areas\rSystèmes ASI, y compris les batteries et différentes configurations Sauvegarde des systèmes de génératrices Distribution électrique Environnement de centre de données Chauffage, ventilation et climatisation Systèmes de détection et de suppression des incendies Orientation IdO et IdO Critical Qualifications\rElectrical Engineer / technologist / building with AC Power expertise and knowledge.Three to five years of experience in critical facility environment.Knowledge of codes related to Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Safety systems.Awareness of Building Code.Problem solving skills. Attention to detail and processes.IT skills: Microsoft Office software suite.Skills in time management and communication (verbal and written).Interpersonal and customer service skills.Demonstrate results-oriented mobilizing leadership.Dynamic and able to work in a team.Available for occasional commuting.Preferred Qualifications\rP.Eng or EIT with focus on obtaining P.Eng.Knowledge of \"TIER\" certifications of the \"up time institute\".Knowledge of Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) certifications.NFPA 72 & 76.Knowledge of critical equipment commissioning practices.Knowledge of good practices in mission critical buildings.Good multidisciplinary knowledge (electrical equipment).
