Primary Responsibilities

Design, analyze, develop, and test electronics, sensors, actuators, measurement systems, and controls in support of advanced Survivability systemsProvide direct engineering support for customers and end-users

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of experience.Must have a Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security ClearanceExcellent computer skills, with experience using LINUX/UNIX, WindowsExperience with integrated circuit layout, printed circuit board (PCB design), National Instruments SW such as LabVIEW, Multisim, PXIExperience with embedded software development (Firmware development for MCUs)Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as with a teamExcellent problem-solving skillsMust be meticulous, organized, responsible, and self-motivated with a can-do attitudeMust be a U.S CitizenSome travel within the US is required

Preferred Qualifications

Background in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and/or Mathematics.  Advanced degree is a plusProgramming experience, C/C++, Visual Basic.  Aptitude and desire to perform programming for the purpose of data manipulation and processingWorking aptitude for surfacing, manipulation, and meshing of CAD geometries for use in analytical codesProficient with basic hand and shop tools for the purpose of test article preparation and/or prototype developmentExperience with MS Office
