As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. **Responsibilities** 1. Execute Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) and provide Electrical Engineering services for projects lead by others to: 1. Improve safety 2. Reduce cost by improving productivity and reducing waste 3. Improve product quality 4. Improve equipment reliability 1. Troubleshoot reoccurring equipment problems and implement long term improvements 2. Support production in a factory environment using electrical engineering skills 3. Use creativity to generate improvement ideas and solutions to problems that improves MEEF. 4. Learn by experience working with robots, automated equipment, and complex processing lines 5. Work with in-house experienced electrical engineers to grow technical knowledge for more complex future work **Qualifications** 1. Bachelor of Science in an Electrical Engineering Discipline (BS Electrical Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering Technology required) 2. 3 to 5 years in Electrical Engineering process-based experience in manufacturing 3. Strong teamwork, people skills, and communications skills 4. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 5. Experience with and understanding of industrial machine controls including PLC, HMI screens, electrical drives & motors, photo eyes, prox switches, solenoid valves 6. Proficient with Auto CAD 7. Programming and configuration of control systems required. 8. Proven experience in project execution is preferred. 9. Knowledgeable in SCADA (i.e. Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk) for historical data collection. 10.
