Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.
Subfamily Description
Deployment (DEP) comprises the provision of an end-to-end process for the acquisition, construction, implementation / integration, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance.
Impact
Impact is short-term through individual and team contributions. Scope is primarily within own subject area in a function/unit. Actions and errors impact on program, project or function. Provides measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organisation's business strategies, with some impact on business unit/ function overall results.

Knowledge & Experience
Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organisational practice or expertise. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth). Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
Preferred rail experience in terms of previously reviewing or creating electrical designs in rail environment for mobile base stations or other communications or signalling equipment and has a good understanding of rail electrical requirements with regards to earthing and bonding.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Review of existing drawings and documentation to determine the existing electrical supply and Earthing arrangement for the site (mobile telecom and/or rail)
Review of Power Viability Audit requirement requests from the design suppliers and provide them the directions as needed
Review and propose any power step-back arrangement with client and provide feedback to the designers for the sites with electrical supply constraints.
Co-ordination of design interfaces as applicable to electrical design with other disciplines (including property, town planning, Site Solutions, RF and EME)
Review of For Construction Electrical and Earthing designs
Managing and forecasting of PVA’s and electrical design deliverables and milestones
Ensuring all tasks relating to the project activities compliance with legislative requirements including all relevant Standards, Regulations and Codes.
Read, understand and ensure compliance with the customer contract at all times, regarding the performance of electrical design related activities.
Understanding and administration of electrical design sub-contractor contracts.
Support client acceptance of electrical designs as needed
Provision of assistance in the engagement with Power Authorities to discuss any power upgrade requirements if needed.
Support the implementation of corrective actions, if needed.
