Actalent Services is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support design work. This is a position in the Engineering Flight of the 72d Civil Engineer Directorate at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. As an electrical engineer subject matter expert, you will have responsibility for planning, developing, designing, and coordinating a broad range of electrical engineering activities. Energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs) allow federal agencies to procure energy savings and facility improvements with no up-front capital costs or special appropriations from Congress. An ESPC is a partnership between an agency and an energy service company (ESCO). You will be working on a team with Resident Assistants (RAs), engineers, and construction inspectors, managing projects from inception to completion. The primary duties include processing submittals, responding to RFIs, and helping to reduce construction project delays. Responsibilities + Plan, develop, design, and coordinate electrical engineering activities. + Manage projects from inception to completion. + Process submittals and respond to RFIs. + Assist in reducing construction project delays. + Work on energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs). Essential Skills + Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET accredited institution. + Professional Engineer (PE) license. + Experience in electrical design within AutoCAD. + Experience in managing multiple design projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. + Strong leadership and reliability. + Ability to follow instructions well. + Coachable personality. Work Environment This role involves re-commissioning buildings at Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB) and working directly with government clients. You will spend approximately 70% of your time in the office and 30% in meetings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
