Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer for an MEP consulting firm in Columbus, OH. This is a Direct Hire full-time job opportunity in Westerville, OH that allows you to work on a hybrid schedule (2 days remote). Responsibilities + Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects within Revit or AutoCAD. + Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. + Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and gather project requirements. + Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery. + Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and coordination studies. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards. + Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information). + Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress. Essential Skills + 6-11 years of experience in consulting engineering for buildings. + Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit. + E.I./P.E. certification is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with MEP engineering, MEP design, electrical design engineering, power distribution design, and building design. + Knowledge in commercial construction and facility design. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm with a hybrid schedule (2 days remote) allowed after 90 days of employment and upon management approval. The Columbus, OH office houses 75 people, including 7 team leads and 3 Principals.
