We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer in Linköping to be part of our Microwave and Electronics group within the Engineering Department. You will work with radar-level sensors, system components, and communication devices. We use TDR and FMCW radar technology operating in microwave frequency bands for continuous level measurement, as well as piezoelectric vibrating structures for point-level measurement. Our products are designed to work in harsh conditions in industry and marine environments, often within explosive atmospheres and with tight energy constraints. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ To work within product development projects with the design and development of our next-generation radar sensors and systems.
+ To participate in all phases of the development process: from generating ideas, proof-of-concept and technology studies, planning, designing and testing, all the way to production ramp-up.
+ To maintain and improve our existing products on the market.
+ To improve and develop our design methods, tools and work procedures.

You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish. You work through formal and informal channels to build broad-based relationships and support
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Have 2-5 years of experience in a design or product development position in electronics.
+ Have graduated from University with a "Bachelor's or equivalent experience" in Electrical Engineering or similar.
+ Strong theoretical skills in math, circuit theory and electrical components.
+ Experience in circuit simulation, creating and maintaining schematics and PCB layouts.
+ Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, since our business environment is international.
+ Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Communication skills in Swedish.
+ Experience in electrical design for Hazardous Environments/Intrinsic safety.
+ Experience in design for functional safety.
+ Experience in using Cadence design tools.
+ Has worked with radar technology or other industrial measurement and automation equipment.
