WHEN YOU JOIN US YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO;
+ Design electrical systems, including power distribution, power factor correction, control panels, wiring, and instrumentation, to support processes.
+ Design, develop, and fine tune PID Control algorithms for complex electrical systems.
+ Create electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
+ Specify components, material, and equipment required for electrical systems.
+ Integrate electrical systems with manufacturing equipment and machinery.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, production engineers, HSE, and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability.
+ Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
+ Develop and implement automation solutions, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, distributed control systems (DCS), to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
+ Program and troubleshoot control systems for automated processes.
+ Optimize control algorithms and software for improved system performance.
+ Establish preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical equipment and systems.
+ Support electrical maintenance by training, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical malfunctions and equipment breakdowns.
+ Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
+ Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
+ Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to protect personnel and equipment.
+ Maintain accurate records of electrical designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
+ Generate technical reports, documentation, and manuals.
+ Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.
+ Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Experience in utilizing statistics to solve problems and monitor processes.
+ Ability to develop and manage a budgetary control process for areas of responsibility.
+ Analytical, data-driven problem solving and action planning skills.
+ Ability to make independent and well thought out decisions.
+ Organized, self-starter, results oriented, unique problem solver.
+ Working knowledge of industry standards, local and national electrical codes, NFPA-70E, regulations, and safety protocols.
+ Proficiency in CAD software, engineering analysis tools, and simulation software as required in electrical design.
+ Proficiency in electrical design software, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
