JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to draft electrical schematics detailing the integration of backplane and peripheral I/O subsystems in embedded computing enclosures. The role involves managing board layouts, generating bill of materials (BOMs), completing design verification processes, and providing support during the manufacture and integration of board and backplane assemblies.
Draft electrical schematics for embedded computing enclosures.Manage board layouts, including the construction of library parts.Generate bill of materials (BOMs) and other manufacturing documentation.Complete design verification processes and required documentation.Provide support during the manufacture of board and backplane assemblies and chassis integration.JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Electrical engineeringBoard LayoutPCB DesignDigital and Analog Circuit DesignBOM generationHigh Speed Board Design (>10Gig)Schematic captureExperience with VME, VPX, CPCI, and VXS system bussesDesign Experience with Minimizing EMI and ESD issuesAbility to collaborate with customers regarding System Engineering and ArchitectureAbility to resolve field issues with customers10-12 years of experience in the Aerospace/Defense industryKnowledge of printed circuit board design, layout, and manufacturingExperience with the Defense and Aerospace industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, Mil-STD, DoD)Experience working with outside vendors/board housesAbility to handle multiple projects in an environment of changing priorities and short timeframesExperience with Mentor GraphicsPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
