Our client, a consulting engineering firm, is a privately held company that was started in 1968. They specialize in providing design and engineering services for all aspects of building and utility infrastructure construction, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC. We are hiring for their Norfolk office located in the downtown district in Norfolk, VA. They are an innovative engineering firm specializing in a wide variety of projects. Description:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for tasks including:
Assist electrical engineers with the design of electrical, lighting and fire alarm systems.Prepare electrical designs as required and as necessary to meet client schedules.Drafting of electrical system designs.Attend project meetings.Provide construction administration services, as required.Provide correspondence with clients for coordination and requests for information.Perform field surveys of existing facilities.Periodic business travel required to fulfill project requirements.Qualifications:
3-5+ years of design experience (senior level positions also available).Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering concentration.Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software.Professional Engineering license preferred.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/hr.
