A civil engineering firm that offers consulting, design, and construction management services is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team! Job Responsibilities: + Provide leadership and project management for MEP engineering projects + Assign project tasks and provide guidance and mentoring to other staff + Lead or assist with the development of project scope, budget, and schedule + Negotiate fees and contract amendments as necessary + Collaborate with in-house engineering teams on projects requiring MEP design services + Assist the Area Manager with billing, project performance monitoring, workload forecasting, and staff utilization + Collaborate on project pursuits and develop relationships with clients and prospects Qualifications: + B.S. in Electrical or Architectural Engineering + Illinois PE is highly preferred, open to EIT + 5+ years of post-graduate experience + Electrical Engineering experience for building projects + Project management experience is a plus + Proficiency in Revit + Familiarity with SKM PowerTools, AGI-32 (or other lighting design softwares), MS Office + Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or other ERP systems is desirable + Ability to travel to client or project sites as needed Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
