You will support the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance System (C4ISR) business areas. These positions are primarily full time onsite with some flexibility for hybrid options available. These roles will be supporting engineering development, integration, test and transition to production efforts on complex electronic modules. Candidates will provide electrical engineering support to a dynamic engineering development team, leading first unit test, design verification test, integration and transition to production tasks on complex digital, power supply & backplane circuit cards and modules. The successful candidates must possess strong technical aptitude, communication skills and ability to work cross functionally within the hardware organization and with other engineering disciplines/functions. Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment in technical areas. You must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance. Typical duties include (for Digital Engineer position) + Design of complex high speed digital circuit card assemblies + Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of digital modules, working directly with program engineering personnel + Interface with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Quality and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause + Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield and improve throughput + Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders and other documentation + Interface with Government customers and suppliers as required + Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required + Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities + Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and derating analysis preferred + Power conditioning and distribution experience preferred Typical duties include (for Power Supply Engineer position) + Experienced in the design, analysis and testing of AC/DC and DC/DC converters for military and aerospace applications. + Development of switching power converters from 200 to 500 kHz with 1 to 500 Watts output power and output voltages from 3.3 to 270 Volts. + Be proficient in the areas of control circuit, EMI filter and magnetics design, parts selection, developing and executing test procedures and anomaly resolution + Familiarity with Military Standards 461, 704, 1275 and 1399 + Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of power supply modules, working directly with program engineering personnel + Interface with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Quality and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause + Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield and improve throughput + Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders and other documentation + Interface with Government customers and suppliers as required + Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required + Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities + Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and derating analysis preferred Typical duties include (for Backplane/ Cable Harness Engineer position) + Design of complex high speed backplane assemblies + Strong background in cable designs supporting TEMPEST & EMI requirements + Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of backplanes and cable harness assemblies, working directly with program engineering personnel + Interface with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Quality and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause + Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput + Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders and other documentation + Interface with Government customers and suppliers as required + Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required + Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities + Experience with signal integrity and power integrity analysis Typical duties include (for Optical Engineer position) + Design of complex optical circuit card assemblies and chip and wire assemblies + Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of optical modules, working directly with program engineering personnel as require + Interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause + Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput + Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation + Interface with governmental customers and suppliers as required Typical duties include (for RF Engineer position) + Design of complex RF circuit card assemblies and chip and wire assemblies + Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules and sub-assemblies of RF modules, working directly with program engineering personnel as require + Interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause + Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput + Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, Skills** + A bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required + 2 years of experience **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $126305 - $214718 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
