Designation:
•    P.Eng or CET


Education:
•    Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution


Job Summary:
Our client in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Designer specializing in Building Systems to join their team in either Waterloo or Hamilton, Ontario.


Job Duties:
•    Design of electrical building systems for institutional, commercial, residential, educational, agricultural, recreational, and pharmaceutical buildings
•    Electrical design will include: Building power requirements; Interior/exterior lighting; Building power distribution; Security systems; Fire alarm systems; Computer network systems; Emergency life safety systems including generators; Communication systems; Surveillance systems


Qualifications:
•    Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• 3-5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering for Building Systems
• P.Eng or CET designation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
