Compensation: $55.00 - 104.00/hour, DOE
Location: Notrees, TXWork Schedule: Can support M-F or rotational scheduleAssignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k), Holidays and PTO Responsibilities Develop, manage, and participate in programs, methods, systems, and practices for maintaining a safe workSupport commissioning and start up of industrial Direct Air Capture facility. This will include equipment QA/QC validation, acceptance of equipment and documentation and troubleshooting on start upMonitor equipment performance and make recommendations to improve reliability and reduce costProvide QAQC support conducting inspections, performance quality audits, and ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, while assisting in the identification and resolution of quality-related issuesProvide cost estimating and engineering proposals on routine replacement of equipment to correct maintenance problems or for the improvement of processing equipmentProvide technical support to production and maintenance organizations throughout the plant to evaluate and resolve maintenance problemsProvide training to production, maintenance, and other departments in the proper operation, troubleshooting, repair techniques, controls, and care of electrical equipmentKeep current on new technology and equipment and evaluate applicability for use in the plantConsult with contractors, Company maintenance personnel and outside service groups on capital and maintenance projectsDevelop, implement, and evaluate preventive maintenance programsEnsure applicable preventative maintenance programs are functioning and are executed as designedEnsure compliance of electrical maintenance systems and electrical components with corporate standardsEstablish testing and calibration procedures for electrical equipment, as necessaryRecommend, establish, and update spare parts requirements for existing or new equipmentPrepare equipment specifications and purchase requestsDevelop inspection, testing, outage, and repair scopes throughout the plantLead in troubleshooting issues with major equipment or repetitive issuesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and operating permitsActively participates in plant’s Health, Environmental, Safety and Security (HESS) programs to assure a safe and environmentally sound workplace.  Actively participate in safety meetings and various other Cllient programs while promoting safety through offering recommendations to other employees on working safely Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering5 years previous Electrical Engineering Experience in a Power Generation or Manufacturing Environment required, 10 or more years preferredAbility to make technically and economically sound recommendations with incomplete information and in the time requiredStrong analytical/problem solving/trouble shooting skillsHigh proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to read, write and speak in EnglishExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team and to develop team membersAbility to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basisMust be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs.  Walking, bending, stooping is requiredMust be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator and be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
