Electrical Engineer Co-Op- Spring 2024

DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to work in a dynamic R&D environment. In this role you will work alongside a group of passionate engineers to create innovative solutions that truly make a difference.

DEKA offers Co-Ops for full time students* (must be at least 18 years of age). This position is for a 6+ month rotation for the Spring semester starting in January 2025.

How you will make an impact as an Electrical Engineer Co-Op:

Support development of new products and new product conceptsPerform characterization of electrical circuits and document performanceAssist in failure analysisPerform verification and validation activities using test equipment and test fixturesTroubleshoot electromechanical prototypesOperate software on embedded systemsUse electrical CAD tools for schematic and layout including AltiumUse electrical engineering knowledge and principles to solve problems

Skills we are looking for in an Electrical Engineer Co-Op:

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Electrical Engineering programKnowledge of analog circuits (signal and low-power)Knowledge of digital electronicsMust have exposure to electrical CAD tools (schematic and layout)Must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be a self-starter eager to contribute in a team environmentMust be detail oriented

*Applicants should be aware that short-term housing options in Manchester, NH are limited and that DEKA is not able to financially assist with housing.

*A full time student is defined as being enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per semester at an undergraduate program, or a minimum of 9 credits per semester for a graduate program.
