Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum. As an Electrical Engineer II, you design and test implantable medical devices to ensure MRI safety under guidance. You execute MRI tests effectively. You have great opportunities to learn about MRI safety, class III medical device design and development process, computational modeling, and project management. **What You'll Work On** + Perform electrical and RF design of implanted medical device for MRI safety. + Design medical device product for MRI safety under guidance. + Execute testing, computational modeling, and data analysis for MRI safety. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MRI, Physics, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. + Three plus years of progressively more responsible design and experience in RF and electrical engineering. + Ability to meet deadlines. Must work in Plano, TX. + Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. + Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. + Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. **Preferred Qualifications** + Working knowledge of electromagnetic fields and human body interactions + Working knowledge of MRI scanner hardware (RF coils, gradient coils, magnet, etc.) + Experience in high frequency numerical electromagnetic simulations (HFSS, Sim4Life, etc.) + Experience in RF electrical product design + Working knowledge of ISO/TS 10974 and IEC 60601-2-33 + Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
