The position will be located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. What You Will Do: + The candidate is responsible for developing FPGA level requirements derived from system level requirements, developing associated architectures, implementing VHDL design, performing VHDL simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and testing of the FPGA in a laboratory setting. + They will be familiar with latest technology trend in the area of FPGA VHDL design, VHDL verification, microprocessor, memory, and interface protocols. + This position is for an individual with educational and professional experience in the digital hardware design, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of circuit card assemblies and subsystems with an emphasis on design of boards containing FPGA circuits and digital and analog interfaces. + The candidate will work in the product development team environment with system, mechanical, and software engineers. + This position may require occasional business related travel. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
