Daikin Applied is seeking an Electrical Engineer III who will research, develop, design and test electrical components, equipment, and systems.

Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, domestic and internal purposes Design and direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements Direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field and internal installations Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of power electronic experience required in power design, power distribution, VFD's, electric and control motors Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the HVAC industry preferred Master’s Electrician license
