Electrical Engineer - Infotainment and Connectivity Hardware
Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for an Electrical Engineer - Infotainment and Connectivity Hardware for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities: + As an Electrical Engineer on our Infotainment and Connectivity Hardware team, you will own the development of some of the key human-machine interfaces (HMI) our riders use to interact with our robot/vehicle. + This includes hardware for user authentication, ingress access, communication, and cabin/occupant monitoring. + In this highly cross-functional role, you will need to develop requirements, solve challenging design problems, create and test prototypes, and coordinate projects to meet critical company milestones. + Specify electrical component and system requirements and lead engineering discussions and development with suppliers. + Coordinate supplier tooling and production to meet critical vehicle milestones. + Collaborate with hardware design teams, firmware and software teams, and system operators to iterate on existing designs and develop future solutions. + Conduct root cause analysis during the development, validation, build, and deployment phases for issue resolution. + Support the development and execution of system and component-level validation test plans. + Work with manufacturing and quality engineers to mature components and support vehicle build, bring-up, and test activities.
