Essential skills and experience:
Must have an expected graduation date prior to Summer 2027 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) from an ABET-accredited engineering program with a strong academic background and coursework. Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong PC skills.Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.
Valued but not required skills and experience:
Prior, related internship or co-op experience is preferred.Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.Completed coursework in power systems is preferred.An understanding of the practical application of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and technology, including applying systems, principles, techniques, and procedures to a project design.Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.Sargent & Lundy is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
