Electrical Engineer IV
We're looking for an Electrical Engineer IV to work within their facilities located in Notrees, TX for a long-term assignment.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at a Direct Air Capture facility in Ector County, TX. The Electrical Engineer will develop, manage, and participate in programs and practices to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This position will focus on supporting the facility's commissioning and start-up, monitoring equipment performance, and providing technical support to ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and implement systems, methods, and programs for maintaining a safe work environment at the facility. Support commissioning and start-up of the industrial Direct Air Capture facility, including equipment QA/QC validation, acceptance of equipment and documentation, and troubleshooting during start-up. Monitor equipment performance, identify opportunities to improve reliability, and make recommendations to reduce costs. Provide QAQC support by conducting inspections and performance quality audits, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Offer cost estimates and engineering proposals for routine equipment replacements or improvements to processing equipment. Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance. Train production, maintenance, and other departments on the proper operation, troubleshooting, repair techniques, and care of electrical equipment. Stay current with new technologies and equipment, evaluating their applicability to improve plant performance. Consult with contractors, maintenance personnel, and outside service groups on capital and maintenance projects. Develop, implement, and evaluate preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity. Ensure compliance with electrical maintenance systems and components in alignment with corporate standards. Establish and maintain testing and calibration procedures for electrical equipment. Recommend, establish, and update spare parts requirements for existing or new equipment. Prepare equipment specifications and purchase requests. Develop inspection, testing, outage, and repair scopes for plant equipment. Lead troubleshooting efforts for major equipment issues or repetitive failures. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and operating permits. Actively participate in Health, Environmental, Safety, and Security (HESS) programs to maintain a safe and environmentally sound workplace. Promote safety by offering recommendations on working safely and participating in safety meetings and programs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a power generation or manufacturing environment required; 10+ years preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to make sound technical and economic recommendations with incomplete information and within required timelines. High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and develop team members. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis. Physical ability to lift to 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and perform activities like walking, bending, and stooping. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator, and respond to visual and audible alarms.
