We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting controls, programming, power design, creating drawings and schematics, project engineering, and troubleshooting equipment. You will work closely with internal electricians and external contractors, while reporting directly to the appropriate team. The role will also require time spent on the facility floor to gain a thorough understanding of the site’s infrastructure and layout.
What you will do:
Develop, maintain, and support Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems.Design, update, and enhance electrical schematics and diagrams, ensuring accuracy and providing redlines for any changes.Work with AC/DC motors and power distribution systems.Collaborate with the maintenance team to support site electrical needs, including developing and implementing migration paths for obsolete controls and components.Troubleshoot electrical infrastructure and technical issues, providing root cause analysis and problem-solvingResearch and development of new technology to update and enhance industrial electrical systems.Drive the research and development of new technologies to modernize and improve electrical systemsMaintain Arc-Flash models for the site’s electrical system and identify areas for improvement in both the facility and executive buildings.Work closely with the Engineering department to support project development and execution plans.What you will bring:
Experience in Manufacturing Plant Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of NFPA 70 requirements. Proven project leadership experience with the ability to collaborate effectively.Bachelor's degree (B.S. or higher) in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, from an accredited institution.Experience with, or willingness to learn, Allen-Bradley PLC programming and other various platforms.What you'll get:
