Our Nuclear Services Group is looking for Electrical Engineers onsite at Columbia Generating Station in Richland, WA. In this role, you will coordinate with diverse disciplines, review designs, and manage projects with autonomy. Additionally, you will prepare specs, evaluate bids, and innovate solutions to technical challenges. Responsibilities

A typical day is driven by collaboration and innovation, where you shape the future of projects by coordinating with diverse teams, solving complex technical challenges, managing budgets and schedules, and guiding your team to deliver high-quality, impactful results.

 

Collaboration & Coordination: Understand roles played by other disciplines and coordinate with them. Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data from othersDesign & Planning: Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates. Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specificationsProject Management: Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal guidance. Direct and oversee technical work performed by othersProblem Solving & Innovation: Devise new approaches to technical problemsFieldwork & Implementation: Travel for field installation, checkout, and start-up Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field for the position and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferredExperience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systemsDemonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations is desiredMakes recommendations based on knowledge and experienceProficient in Microsoft SuiteExcellent writing, presentation and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsMust be able to perform plant walkdownsMust be able to get badged at a nuclear facility

Salary Range

The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
