Onsite Electrical Project Engineer - Data Center - Salt Lake City, UT
This challenging and unique role will involve managing the design of critical power systems for new data centers and expansions to existing data centers. The ideal candidate will have past experience designing electrical systems specifically for large data centers. They will have experience and in-depth knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution System design and installation. Previous experience with electrical equipment design to include Generators, UPS systems and electrical switchgear is a must. You will help support the design team and working / communicating with all the trades and stakeholders involved in all projects.
Candidate will assist with the interpretation of design requirements from the client and how that translates into a design that fits in the data center that is being built. You will be the onsite eyes and ears from the Company and communicate with the offsite design team change orders, new requirements, etc. Working and communicating with internal team and clients effectively is a must.

5-15 years experienceBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degreeLicensed PE / EIT a PlusExperience with AutoCAD for review and tweaks for any design plans a plus and helpfulPrevious experience using: Revit MEP projects, BIM a plusExperience with Electrical Power Systems such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Generators, Switchgears, and Batteries a MUSTPrevious Data Center / Mission Critical experience a mustElectrical equipment testing experience in a Critical Facilities / facility environmentAbility to successfully work independentlySelf Starter, self motivated, and should prioritize wellPrevious experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus! Experience with Electrical / Mechanical: Navy nukes - EMN, ETN, MMNs, SeaBees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, etc.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (this role requires heavy amount of writing, documentation, and client interaction)Submittal Instructions:
