Your Key Responsibilities Oversee design process from feasibility through completion and liaise directly with clients on major projects Perform detailed electrical design work and review the work of junior designers. Direct CAD team for drawing preparation and review deliverables before submission to the client Prepare written reports based on building electrical assessments and audits Prepare written tender documents and technical specifications. Evaluate products and contractor proposals to make award recommendations to the owner Work with management to develop business strategies related to new clients and potential growth areas in electrical engineering Assist with proposal preparation and contacting new clients to grow business CAD experience is required Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2004/2008/2010. Knowledge of lighting software and basic engineering is preferred experience with roadway & highways lighting projects would be a strong asset.  Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast paced environment Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering P.Eng. registration in Canada Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering consulting
