The Role\: Electrical Engineer - Sustaining (ID 0093DF)
What will you do?
Responsible for continuously driving product quality improvement and providing technical expertise\:
· To serve as a focal solution provider for Field Failure resolution through rapid Corrective Action (CA) activities serving as a 24x7 escalation point for field problems on startups as well as for manufacturing engineering for technical issues
· New Product Development (NPD) technical reviewer ensuring NPD issues are caught early and fixed before release to production via rapid CA and by injecting value engineering concepts to solve projected manufacturing problems
· To serve as a single-point escalation path for technical issue resolution from manufacturing and the field via PRB and TEX
· To serve as a technical execution owner of the PEP process
Who would be successful?
· A minimum of 3 years of design or product engineering experience gained in AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC power conversion manufacturing environment or similar electronics manufacturing environment
· High level of problem-solving capacity is required
· Strong leadership potential
· Good technical report writing skills
· Can interface with the customers and deliver APC solutions
· Team Oriented
· Excellent business ethics and integrity
· Highly independent and self-starter
· Works on minimal supervision
· Detail driven individual with an eye for detail
· Demonstrates a methodical work organization
· Comfortably work under a lot of pressure
