The undergraduate on placement will typically have a range of responsibilities designed to gain experience and contribute to the Plant Engineering function. Emphasis will be on electrical engineering, LV/MV equipment and engineering studies. During the placement, the student will be exposed to various roles and functions, e.g. maintenance and projects, while working as part of a larger engineering team. The student will be assigned specific tasks to work on and will take ownership of these tasks, which may involve elements of design, planning, and installation.
