Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Electrical Engineer (W/WW) to join our MEPS Infrastructure group in our Nashville, TN office. The successful candidate should have experience specifying, designing, and implementing electrical power systems for Water/Wastewater projects. Position has potential to develop and lead a group of water/wastewater electrical engineers. Will report to the MEPS Infrastructure Department Manager.

Responsibilities Provide electrical power system engineering and design for the W/WW projects.Design opportunities included low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related systems.Provide electrical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates. Review and approve contractor submittals.Sizing conduit and wire, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and designing lighting systems. Coordinate with instrumentation and controls engineer and other disciplines to successfully execute electrical designs. Required Skills & Required Experience BS in electrical engineering.5-10 years of design in Water/Wastewater project or WW/W operation experience.PE or ability to obtain within 1 year Required. Must be a self-starter with initiative, drive and determination.Candidate must have a good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Codes, and other related Codes.Good verbal, writing and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines, and client interface
