Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Summer Intern to join our RNG Electrical Engineering team. Our team focuses on designing and implementing electrical systems that support the production and distribution of renewable natural gas, contributing to a cleaner and greener future. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, working on cutting-edge projects that have a real-world impact. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Charlotte, NC, Framingham, MA, or Portland, Maine office.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for RNG facilities.
+ Collaborate with senior engineers to perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analyses.
+ Support the integration of renewable energy sources into existing electrical grids.
+ Participate in site visits and fieldwork to gather data and ensure project compliance.
+ Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
+ Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in RNG systems.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
+ Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and renewable energy technologies.
+ Proficiency in CAD software and electrical simulation tools.
