What You'll Do:
The Avon Lake Electrical Engineering team supports all electrical equipment for the Avon Lake Plant including power, controls, safety, design, maintenance, and operation. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and understand electrical equipment and systems, collaborate with engineers of other disciplines across the plant in installations and troubleshooting, manage projects, and create documentation.
Experience in the design and maintenance of a wide variety of electrical systems
Aid in the installation and modification of new electrical equipment
Work with motor controls and the circuit protection of many types of process equipment
Potential opportunities to program electrical systems and equipment
Update documentation and information
Practical experience of troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and control systems
What We're Looking For:
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, with a graduation date between December 2025 through May 2028.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving experience with lateral thinking.
Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks under minimal supervision and work as a part of a team.
Interest in working hands-on in the field of systems used in production and pilot buildings.
