There are multiple electronics cabinets for qualification tooling, used at supplier and at ASML. All these cabinets have different sets of documents, drawings, and electrical schematics. This causes difficulties in maintaining lifecycle management, restricted item clean-up and customized changes required. Since there are many similarities, a common cabinet can designed.
Your assignmentDuring this internship, you will investigate and define a common electrical cabinet for qualification tooling using standard ASML building blocks/designs.
For this assignment, some of your tasks will include:
Familiarize yourself with the available electronics cabinets for qualification tooling at ASML;
Investigate their requirements and similarities;
Design (reverse engineer) the common cabinet/ cable sets;
Document and update the drawings/ schematics;
Perform a failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA);
Present your findings to the team.
This is an apprentice internship for 4-5 days a week with a duration of 5-6 months. The start date is as soon as possible.
To be a match for this internship, you:
Are busy with your bachelor in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics;
Have an understanding of the basics in electronics;
Are skilled in Microsoft Excel;
Are solution oriented and have a hands-on mentality;
Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
