KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nDeveloping the electrical engineering capability within the organization that is specialized in electrical circuits, power and signal handling, cabling, and EMI/EMC for cryogenic systems\nManaging a team of electrical engineers including hiring, assigning work, monitoring team member performance, writing and delivering performance reviews, mentoring team members, developing training plans, and managing career development\nSupporting the maturation of a growing organization by leading the development of standardized processes and templates and attracting critical talent\nCollaborating with program management, technical personnel, functional leadership and support organizations to drive the successful delivery of highly specialized systems\nEnsuring the application of electrical engineering best practices for a wide variety of projects from R&D to Manufacturing\nUnderstanding the complex interactions between the business and technical requirements of a project so that you can provide guidance to the execution team and recommendations to the program manager when conflicts arise\nInteracting with internal and external customers to identify future business opportunities \n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics\nMinimum 10 years of technical leadership experience\nU.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing\nAbility to travel up to 25%\n\n

WE VALUE

\n\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Software Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\n15+ years of experience in engineering, research & development, manufacturing, or a related field\n5+ years of experience managing personnel\nExperience with cryogenic systems\nDemonstrated ability to build successful teams in a fast-paced environment with often ambiguous requirements\n\n

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

\n\nThe annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
