Mission: Use your knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products by designing, testing and/or validating products from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical contribution
· Assist in the design of electrical systems for automated industries according to customer requirements and comply with safety standards such as NEC and NFPA
· Perform commissioning activities and troubleshooting under supervision
· Preparation of electrical drawings such as: electrical models, layouts, schematics, network stick drawings and cable routing and preliminary FLA
· Understand project priorities and comply with on time deliveries
· Collaborate with engineering teams
· Perform specification review
· Exchange task level information
· Communicate non-compliance incidents
· Prepare or update reports and documentation
Day to day processes and tools
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word & Power Point), AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical and vault
· Accustomed to using electrical hand tools such as: pliers, screwdrivers, etc
· Understand project priorities
· Be familiar with forecasts and resource planning
· VFD parametrization for Allen Bradley and Eaton drives
· Understand basic safety requirements (LOTO, electrical hazard, work on heights, etc)
· Be familiar with save cost analysis
· Risk and safety awareness
· Able to identify and report possible overcosts
You must have
· Bachelors degree in engineering: Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or similar.
· English language: Advanced both written and spoken.
· More than +3 years of experience in similar job position.
