Assembles electrical and/or electronic equipment. Tests electrical installations and batteries. Works according to established trade and shop practices. Typically has 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision.

What You’ll Do

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities

Build, test, and calibrate production items per documented work instructionsDocumentation and repair of returned unitsUse support equipment with electronics for a variety of operations on production workKnowledge of blueprints and schematics requiredFinal inspection of own workKeep equipment and area clean, orderly, and safeAny and all other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

Effective communication skills

Ability to read blueprints

Some judgements required to ensure performed assigned duties correctly and safely for self and others

Concentrated mental and visual attention and manual dexterity required

Acceptable Experience or Training:

High school diploma or GED. 1-3 years previous experience preferred

Machine shop environment. Maybe be exposed to dust, sand, and dirt. Must wear required PPE
