Headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA, we are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.\n
This position is responsible for managing the daily operations, proposals, projects, and personnel of the Electrical Estimating Department and to track potential leads for future projects. The Estimating Manager is responsible for more than one project at a time, all in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. This position is fully remote.\n
Salary: $125k per year\n
Requirements are as follows:\n\nA BA\/ BS degree in minimum formal education required for this position. Equivalent work experience will be considered.\nTwelve or more years' experience or equivalent in architectural\/ engineering\/ construction estimating and related functions, including strategies, techniques, and contracting required.\nConceptual and Hard-Bid estimating required.\nProject and performance management work experience required.\nPrevious work experience in the construction design-build industry, including work with contractors and subcontractors in both private and the Department of Defense (DoD) markets required.\nComputer literacy (Microsoft Office - esp. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.\nSpecific software literacy (McCormick, Bluebeam, etc...) preferred.\n\n
