Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2025 Semester (01/06/2025 - 04/27/2025)

Course: Electrical Foundations

This course will discuss the concept of safe working procedures and electrical safety as well as: concepts of electrical charge and electrical current, electrical circuits, and the demonstration of wiring techniques used in commercial electrical installations. Prerequisite: JRE-101. Co-Requisite: JRE-121.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussionsEngage students in learning course objectives and topicsAssess student performance and mentor success in the classroomProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

Journeyman Wireman OR Licensed Electrician with a minimum of ten years’ field experience.

Preferred: Associate degree (or higher) and Journeyman Wireman.
