Electrical / HVAC Service Technicians are responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of  different systems in commercial properties serviced by BGIS. 

As a critical part of the core operations to the business, the Service Technician duties involve direct communication with customers, suppliers and the general community.

Working with the service team, you will be required to: 

Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC and Electrical equipment such as air conditioners and ventilation systems Perform scheduled maintenance on Electrical and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner Work collaboratively with the wider Electrical and HVAC team to share knowledge and best practices

 

What you will need to be successful in this role

You must be a qualified HVAC/ Electrical  technician Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen! Experience providing HVAC and Electrical  services to commercial clients preferred  Restricted electrical licence ARCTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence Current drivers licence Professional presentation and communication skills Have or be able to obtain White card and Police check Have a “Can Do”  attitude and proactive approach with clients and the team.  Value working safely every time and keeping others safe
