Electrical/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, transformers, switchgear, lighting, and power distribution equipment Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation systems such as process control equipment, transmitters, analyzers, and distributed control systems (DCS) Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, control devices, hydraulic equipment, circuits and components Perform preventive maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment according to schedules Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to determine causes and make repairs Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage Applying problem solving methods to identify the root cause and eliminate failures Assisting in the development and implementation of reliability centered maintenance strategies Performing periodic proactive asset strategies, such as maintenance routes, preventative maintenance, and other tasks to improve reliability and uptime Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, lockout/tagout protocols, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Use of PPE & respiratory protection is required Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbsWorking Conditions:
Industrial environment with exposure to dust, heat, dirt, grease, chemicals, noise, various weather conditions & other industrial environments Frequent walking, climbing ladders & stairs; crawling into confined spaces; measure/lift/carry objects of varying weights May be required to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Overtime may be required during outages or emergenciesAccountabilities:
Must adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participating in the safety program Maintaining accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventive maintenance findings Able and willing to support the demands of a 24/7 operationSkills & Ability:
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, equipment, and National Electrical Code Experience with instrumentation such as process control systems, PLCs, transmitters, and analysers Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
