Electrical Inspector

System One is currently seeking an Electrical Inspector on a 12 month contract position located in Shakopee, MN.
Electrical Inspector Responsibilities: Project Overview, deliverables Supporting the installation of 3 Wartsila delay units inside of a Pre-engineered metal building. Will be doing 400 and 480 volt transmission tie-ins. Responsible for reviewing the project drawings, project specs and familiarize themselves with it. Ensuring that all the electrical components out in the field are being installed per draw in spec as required.
Electrical Inspector Requirements: Familiar with building wiring, power distribution systems and transmission tie-ins. Solid knowledge of best practice so that they can spot any deficiencies. Proficient with PDF/Adobe Pro, Bluebeam and/or other electric drawing management viewing tools. 5-7 years of previous electrical inspection experience in addition to hands on technical knowledge to be able to understand right/wrong during contractor electrical oversight. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from site. Strong electrical knowledge with 4160 distribution, 480 volt motor systems, 13.8 transmission distribution, 480 volt motor control and electrical distribution. Qualified in electrical, also looking for experience with logistic side of things, scheduling of deliveries, documenting, etc.
