Electrical Inspector

System One is currently seeking an  Electrical Inspector on a 12 month contract position located in Hobbs, NM. 

Electrical Inspector Responsibilities:  Construction of a 2-unit solar farm with an integrated battery storage system (BESS). Provide oversight to the EPC contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.  Offer technical recommendations on electrical activities during construction.  Oversee low and medium voltage work, including field connections to solar panels and the next tracker system.  Ensure that all electrical work meets the required standards and specifications.  Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices. Work with EPC contractors to ensure technical and safety oversight. Oversight of the day-to-day field activities. Ensuring those connections to the solar panels are secured and eventually will get more involved when the project moves to the inverters. Ensuring that everything is wired and working properly with the inverter.
Electrical Inspector Requirements:  7-10 years electrical experience. Extensive experience with low and medium voltage electrical work. Specific experience within the electrical discipline for solar construction is highly preferred. Familiarity with the NEXTracker system, which is a positioning system software for solar panels, would be highly beneficial. Must prioritize and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.  Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred. OSHA 30 is preferred.

Duration: 12 months 
Location: Hobbs, NM 
Pay Rate: $55-57/hr 
PD: $178/day 
5/10 work schedule
