Main Purpose

The E/I Maintenance Engineer is responsible for all Electrical and Instrumentation equipments. define, implement and update Maintenance plans and task to assure equipment availability. Manage day to day E&I Maintenance issues, implement maintenance and reliability strategy and preventive & predictive maintenance, Keep updated records, documentation, procedures and all information, comply with all the internal and external laws and regulations,  safety, health and environmental standards, as well as cost management. 

 

Your mission Will be to

Support the site by achieving goals and by aligning E/I maintenance with the Site strategy and goals. Actively leverage best practices across the business with other sites.  Drive and incorporate the benefits of a World Class Organization into the plant's culture. Comply with all internal and external laws & regulations, safety, health and environmental standardsActively seek for optimizations regarding reliability of equipments, installations and process, providing support from daily meeting system or specific teams (Reliability, WCM, global & regional teams, among others) ensuring that a proper communication platform with site and company  is properly addressed to optimize assets availability and performance.Manage and implement the E/I Reliability and Maintenance strategy in order to guaranty safe, reliable and efficient operations of the site, reduce equipment losses, improve cost management, develop and follow maintenance KPIs, implement improvements initiative, define, implement and update maintenance plans, define tasks for Maintenance Shutdown and management all the documentation and requirement of the area.Provide leadership, managing and coaching to E/I technician and contractors to ensure benchmark in Electrical & Instrumentations performance measured though KPIs. Provide technical support, follow critical variable and tendencies for Electrical & Instrumentations at the area, identify opportunities, conduct failure analysis and provide accurate solutions in a timely manner, consistently perform root cause analysis using existing tools (such as  troubleshooting, 5-WHY, 6 sigma, DOE) to mitigate risks and avoid unplanned losses. Develop and improve problem solving capability. Work Together with Reliability & Engineering team to reach high standard of assets care, support reliability strategy and support Engineering team in complex modification.  Active Participation in all LEAN related activities that may impact his daily role to support the Production System effectiveness. Support PHA analysis and Hazard Reviews, Audits (Internal and External), Maintenance Shut down, Manufacturing improvements, capital project to maintain and develop the installations and process as well as to assure the equipment standardization. Coaching and mentoring new maintenance Engineer, and define training activitiesParticipate in regional and global maintenance & reliability communityResponsible for manage maintenance plant cost assuring maintenance site budget fulfil

B.S. in Electric/Electronic Engineering or similarAt least 5 years as of experience in manufacturing or maintenanceKnowledge of legal requirement as well as safety standards and obligations.Strong willingness and ability to deliver results, with a good sense on prioritiesFlexible & ProactiveOutsourcing & Contract ManagementEnglish (intermediate)Leadership & Coaching Creativeness and ability to involve and convince peopleSocial competence, initiative and decisiveness
