Essential Duties and Tasks

Lead, coordinate, and assist with the activities of team members. Comply with all safety, safe work practices, and operational and employment policies and practices. Ensure the team follows all safety, quality, production, documentation, reports, good manufacturing practices, cleaning, and preventative maintenance measures and procedures. Seek opportunities to improve established practices and become a sounding board for employee concerns. Anticipate inefficiencies and bring constructive solutions. Support an environment of Honesty, Candidness, Transparency, Teamwork, and Accountability. Support activities including analysis of departmental costs, investigation of significant variances, corrective actions, and communication to teams of actions taken. Train and mentor employees Understand requirements for effective and efficient operations. Understand continuous improvement and problem-solving. All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

Associate's degree preferred. 3 years minimum manufacturing experience on the same or similar equipment. Motor and Motor Control Knowledge: VFDs, Soft-Start, and ATL starters. Process Loop understanding: pressure, temperature, and flow control process loops. PLC and HMI: familiar with Ladder Logic and function block programs Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, AutoCAD LT/DCS Ability to manage moderately complex issues and problems. Experience with cross-functional teams. Solid working knowledge of electrical processes and related manufacturing. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects the privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations). Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options. Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Annual Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000

ProAmpac's Norfolk, NY site is a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing rolls of specialty Kraft Paper from 100% recycled material.
