We’re searching for a talented Electrical Lab Engineer to join our team at our Livorno plant and to play a pivotal role in our HVAC/HVDC laboratory.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of our state-of-the-art laboratory, ensuring the highest quality in product testing and analysis.
Developing Procedures: Create, implement, and monitor laboratory procedures to ensure all electrical tests and analyses meet established scientific standards.
Collaborating Across Departments: Work closely with R&D, production, and engineering teams to understand their testing needs and develop comprehensive plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
Innovating and Improving: Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, equipment, and systems to enhance laboratory performance.
Conducting Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with Quality, R&D, and Process departments to identify and prevent test failures.
Ensuring Accuracy and Safety: Maintain rigorous standards for accuracy and safety in all laboratory procedures.
Leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT): Organize and conduct FATs with customers for HVAC and HVDC applications, both in-person and virtually.
Championing Safety: Lead safety initiatives for all laboratory activities.
Who are we looking for?
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Fluency in English
Up to 2/3 years experience
Preferred Experience
Professional experience in electrical-related activities within an industrial environment is a plus.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to manage customer relationships.
CAD experience is preferred.
