Electrical Lead – Data Centres – Sweden
We are currently partnering with an international construction company with operations in Ireland, Germany and Sweden. Their impressive and ever-growing portfolio includes commercial, fit-out, data centres, biopharma, industrial warehousing, retail, residential, healthcare, conservation and education projects. Due to their continued growth, they are actively seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join their team in Sweden.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement a comprehensive electrical project plan, ensuring coordination with other construction disciplines and alignment with the overall project schedule. This includes managing electrical system installations, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure they are completed on time. Design Review and Value Engineering: Review electrical system designs to ensure they meet the project requirements, regulatory standards, and operational needs. Work with the design team to identify opportunities for cost-saving measures or performance improvements, while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained. Contractor and Vendor Management: Oversee the selection, procurement, and management of electrical subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure that all contractors adhere to the technical specifications, deadlines, and quality standards required for the project, and resolve any issues that arise. Budget and Cost Control: Manage the electrical portion of the project budget, including cost estimation, tracking, and managing changes or variations. Monitor expenses to ensure that electrical work is completed within the allocated budget while maintaining the required standards and scope. Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Identify and address potential risks related to the electrical systems, such as design conflicts, installation delays, or equipment failures. Proactively resolve issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the project stays on track and avoids costly delays. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Serve as the main point of contact for all electrical-related communications between the client, contractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular progress reports, address electrical issues, and ensure that electrical system performance and timelines are aligned with the overall project goals.
Requirements
3rd Level Building Services / Electrical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background Minimum 5 years plus experience in a site-based MEP role-Experience working on hyperscale Data Centres
Benefits
€100,000-€110,000 per annum + Full Rotational Package + Flexible rotation
