Electrical Maintenance Technician
A company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This Electrical Maintenance Tech will be responsible for electrical system validation and verification, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit components. This includes circuit tracing, visual inspection, load banking, de-energizing and re-energizing circuitry depending on risk assessment, and configuration management such as documentation of as-built condition using CAD drawings and panel schedules. This Technician will also perform circuit component repair/replacement, troubleshoot system circuitry problems, perform infrared scanning of circuitry panels and switch gear, and perform other maintenance duties such as routine rounds to all mechanical and electrical rooms and operation of the uninterruptible power system (UPS - Eaton). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and coordinate closely with internal and external customers, have familiarity with a Windows-based work order system (Maximo), and have a strong understanding of PPE and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Practices.

This position is onsite full-time at Schriever SFB, and it is for a day shift electrician that works 8 hours Monday-Friday and covers a weekend every 4-5 weeks. The pay range for this role is $28.60-39.18/hr, depending on years and level of experience as well as certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
