Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an **Electrical Manufacturing Engineer \- Early Career \-** in Kennedy Space Center, Florida to plan and author procedures for the **Orion Spacecraft Elements Team** and provide floor support for a //Electrical Integration environment\.
The applicant will perform specific duties to include, but are not limited to:
• Create and/or develop work instructions\.
• Determine the sequence of build, selecting or designing required tools, solving production problems, and developing working relationships with a multi\-disciplined team of people who are dedicated to effectively and efficiently plan and build piece parts and assemblies\.
• Assists in investigating design/ factors such as equipment or part availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and large assembly management\.
• Develops and maintains all assembly documentation\.
• Review and Manage Integrated Parts Lists
• Trouble shoot/correct anomalies and discrepant hardware\.
• Performs producibility reviews on designs to assess manufacturability, ease of assembly, and material availability\.
• Routinely interfaces with program personnel and reports project status to leadership\.
• Ability to work **third shift \(8:30 pm \- 5:30 am EST\)** is required for this role\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree from a related discipline \(i\.e\. Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering\)
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CreoParametric, CreoView, EdgeCAM, Delmia or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, Excel in particular\.
• Ability to work 3rd shift and off nominal days \(i\.e\. weekends\) is required for this role\.
• Must be a US Citizen\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.
**Desired Skills:**
• Good verbal and written communication including technical writing\. Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports\. Ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation\.
• Production environment experience
• Knowledge of production and assembly processes\.
• Knowledge in the review of drawings\.
• Knowledge in GD&T
• Knowledge of configuration management practices and databases such as Windchill, EPDM, or similar\.
• Knowledge of Interpreting drawings to create work instructions
• Knowledge in 3D printing

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
