Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Service Technician position. The Service Technician services various types of welding and automation equipment in an efficient, accurate manner. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Trouble shoot and repair various types of  welding equipmentTrouble shoot and service gas and diesel enginesPerform preventative maintenance and functional testing on various types of welding equipmentAbility to work in shop on both plasma and welding equipmentEnter service orders and research customer records on computerCertify equipment to manufacturer standardsSet-up and install new welding and automation equipmentPerforms other tasks as assigned or necessaryPay $24.00-$26.50/hr DOE

QualificationsElectrical/electronic technician degree Lift equipment from floor to work bench weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basisAbility to move equipment weighing over 100 lbsUnderstanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, AC drives and 3 axis machines a plusPossess strong mechanical, electrical and electronic skillsRead repair orders, manuals, reports, computer screen, etc.Complete tasks and solve problems independently with little supervision
